Katy Nesbit Service Recognition AwardEach year, UNYOC recognizes a UNYOC member for exemplary service to the Chapter. The recipient receives a plaque and paid registration to the next Annual Meeting. In 2004, the award was named in honor of Katy Nesbit, a dedicated member of both UNYOC and the Medical Library Association. Among her many honors and achievements, Katy was a past recipient of the Chapter's Service Award. The call for nominations for the Katy Nesbit Service Award occurs each Spring. 2006 Recipient of the Katy Nesbit Service Recognition AwardAt the 2006 Annual Meeting in Niagara Falls, the Katy Nesbit Recognition Service Award was presented to Diana Cunningham for her many contributions to the Chapter, including serving as Program Planning Chair in 2005 and 2006. Diana was also nomiated by UNYOC and Chapter Council for, and subsequently elected t, the MLA Nominating Committee for 2006-2007. She is curently UNYOC's Chair-Elect and will become Chapter Chair at the 2007 Annual Meeting in Alexandria Bay. In addition to her work for UNYOC, Diana was the Program Chair for MLA '07.
