Contributed Papers
(Thursday afternoon)

The contributed paper session will again be featured at this year’s conference and the conference planning committee invites you to consider submitting a paper for presentation. The conference focus this year is on change. Topics of relevant presentations could include problem-solving approaches to technology innovations, efforts or outreach activities that address paradigm shifts, creative programs, and reports on research in librarianship, resources or services, or any other topic that is pertinent. Authors of accepted papers can expect to have the opportunity to speak for 10-15 minutes followed by a short question and answer period. Email an abstract of no more than 205 words to rdefranz@clarkson.edu Include your name, position title, address, phone number and e-mail address. The subject line should read: Contributed Paper Proposal 2013.

Gadgets & Gizmos Panel
(Friday morning)

The planning committee seeks a panel of technology-minded librarians to present on emerging relevant computer tools for librarians. This is similar to the MLA Top Tech Trends Panel. Be creative and share your excitement about new technologies! The presentations will likely be 12-15 minutes long with an opportunity for questions at the end.

Lightning Talks
(Friday late morning)

This session will consist of short presentations, probably about 5 minutes in length and no more than three slides on project in your library – maybe something new you are doing, something innovative, or something you think your colleagues will be interested in. Everyone has something!

Posters
(Thursday afternoon)

Posters will be on display on Thursday, October 11, with presenters available to discuss their posters from 2:30-3:30 PM. For poster proposals, submit a 250 word structured abstract to describe your poster.

Technology Petting Zoo Presentation
(Thursday afternoon)

Returning to UNYOC for a repeat performance! We are interested in any members who would be willing to present either equipment or software (cloud based or otherwise) with a special focus on how they are applying the technology in their libraries. We would like attendees to have an opportunity for hands-on practice with the technology as well. This session will most likely run concurrently with the poster session.

To submit a proposal for any of these sessions, and receive your reduced rate registration, go to: http://goo.gl/Exkt5
